This is a 5′ x 4′ mural on wood depicting all of the homes of the family, schoolmates, and friends of one family who settled in Middleton circa 1670.

This is a colorful folk art painting of the rising harvest moon and the setting sun. The pumpkins are piled high in the wagon, and Judy’s cat is enjoying the evening. The Whipple House and General Wade’s house have been candlelit for the evening’s events.

This is a family coastal village with colorful houses, marshes, and an inlet river. The sunny summer breezes fill the sails of the boats in the distance. One oar has dropped into the shallow depths of the river. The seagulls are the perched observers.

This folk art painting brings us back to the shipping days of the China trade. Many of the goods used by the colonists came from faraway places. The lighthouse guided the passage of ships.
